Prayer for the Week

Almighty God, this Lenten season, we ask that you would draw near to our community. Grant that individually we may empty our lives of vacant fillers, so as to create space for you to move. By your grace and providence, may we not only worship fully together this season, but also welcome many who seek you. Grant that we might create a place for all to draw near to you. Lord, reveal yourself to us these forty days. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Ash Wednesday

Missions On Our Doorsteps Conference

March 16 & 17

If you have a heart for the issues of human trafficking and immigration–or if you want to learn more about these and other issues facing the Chicago-area church–join the conversation at the Missions On Our Doorsteps. The conference is organized by a multi-ethnic group of Chicago-area church leaders, and it will have thoughtfully practical workshops and well-respected speakers. Church Camping Trip
June 22nd-24th

We will be having our annual summer church camping trip in June. The site reservation will cost $12 per person. If you are interested, please contact Taylor Norris.

Heritage Meeting

All Saints’ Day Service & Costume Party
Sunday, October 30th

We will celebrate All Saints Day at our regular service time this Sunday, 4 PM. Afterwards, we will have a potluck-style costume party at Kimmy’s house. Click here to sign up to bring a dish.

Intervarsity FUEL Event
This Saturday, October 29th

Message from Taylor Norris: InterVarsity in Chicago is coordinating our annual evangelism event this fall. The theme is “Freedom” from 2 Corinthians, and we’ll be encouraging the students that they are free to share their faith, and that they invite their friends into freedom when they share the Gospel.

The event is called FUEL and about 90 student leaders from schools in the city will be there. Would you be interested in volunteering with us? We are looking for some volunteers who can help set up tables, papers, etc. Either from 8:30-9:30 am, or from 4-5pm. You’d also be welcome to stay in between and experience some of the worship, prayer, and testimonies with us.
